Seasteading

Third Eye Mechatronics

Welcome to the Third Eye Mechatronics Seasteading Project

We are dedicated to pioneering the future of human settlement on the open ocean.

Our Mission

To design and build the necessary technology ('seasteads') to enable long-term and widespread human habitation on the open ocean frontier.

Our Vision

A future where humanity can thrive in resilient, autonomous, and innovative communities beyond land-based constraints, fostering diverse approaches to survival and flourishing.

The Challenge & Our Solution

Coastal crowding, climate vulnerability, resource limitations, and restrictive regulations hinder progress on land. Third Eye Mechatronics addresses these challenges by developing modular, deep-water seastead platforms.

Our Technology & Plan

Our core innovation features the modular 'Dorus' (habitation) and 'Sailing Spar' (mobility/support) components, designed to integrate into cohesive seastead units. This unique combination provides enhanced stability compared to other designs. The Dorus habitation module is suspended from the Sailing Spar in a way that allows it to rotate relative to the spar. This mechanical isolation significantly reduces the transfer of motion from waves and any tilt induced by sailing forces, ensuring greater comfort and stability for occupants.

Our phased development plan prioritizes near-term results:
